State of Washington
*Employees who are 14 and 15 years old must be paid at least 85% of the regular hourly rate.
Businesses in certain municipalities are subject to the minimum wage rates below:
City of Seattle
*Starting 2025, the minimum wage rate applies to all employers regardless of the number of employees, fringe benefit, or tips earned.
City of SeaTac
– The minimum wage of the City of SeaTac applies equally to employees regardless of age.
